From July 22nd to 24th, the 18th Import Goods Fair (IGF) was held in Seoul, organized by the Korea Importers Association (KOIMA) to present new products imported from partner countries. Forty embassies and 22 foreign companies participated in the fair. With the assistance of the Cambodia Food Producers Association, Confirel presented some of its flagship products such as Kirum Kampot pepper, Thnot sugar and candies, Kirum infusions, and KEM Probiotics.

The IGF aims to help foreign manufacturers and suppliers by providing them with the opportunity to showcase and promote their famous brands and quality products to Korean importers and consumers. The products exhibited included food and beverage products, handicrafts, cosmetics, and household items, including kitchen appliances and home décor items.

In addition, many of Korea’s leading companies participated in the event, which also featured a number of events, such as seminars given by distribution experts and a session on trade policy presented by the Korean government.

KOIMA is the only private organization with more than 50 years of experience in promoting imports to Korea. In the context of globalization, the volume of trade between Korea and the world economy has been steadily increasing. This trend has seen Korea emerge as an important economy on the world stage, especially in the import market. KOIMA plays a major role in facilitating this growing trade.
